With the club competing against almost 200 others from across NSW clubs – and the winner decided through an easy, in-house voting system – it’s the perfect opportunity to enjoy a fabulous food offering and support your local club and community at the same time.
Some of the ‘Perfect Plate’ dishes include: Greenfield Station Bistro, Dukkah Spiced Lamb Shoulder – Southern Highlands lamb with sweet potato hummus, brussel sprout lentil salad, mint yogurt and pomegranate for $25; Basement Brewhouse, Tonkatsu Burger – Panko Berkshire pork fillet with apple slaw, avocado, Tonkatsu Kewpie mayonnaise, red coral lettuce and tempura prawn served with a flat chip skewer for $20; La Piazza, Rissoto Aragostine e Fiori di Zucca with Carnaroli rice, brandy bisque, Cuban lobster tail, basil oil and creme fraiche for $29; Helmut’s Haus, Crispy Pork Knuckle – pork knuckle with sauerkraut, braised red cabbage, creamy mash, sweet mustard and jus for $37; Lucky Chengs, Salmon Laksa – Tasmanian salmon with handmade noodles, bean sprouts, egg, coriander, tempura king mushroom, Yarra Valley caviar and lime for $18; and Canton Kitchen, Grilled Octopus – with house-made Sambel Belachan and grilled heirloom tomatoes for $26.
Also participating are: Bankstown RSL Club, Kickin’ Inn – Mixed Bag; The Acres Club, Acres Kitchen – Smoked Beef Short Rib And Chargrilled Broccolini; Canterbury League Club, Bakehouse Cafe – Miso and Maple Glazed Salmon and The Bistro – Pimento and Fetta Stuffed Chicken Supreme; Club Rivers, Malt Barrel Char and Bar – Char Grilled Baby Octopus Salad; and Lantern Club, Mazi – 12-hour Slow Roasted Greek Lamb Shoulder.
