Catering for athletes aged four years (Tiny Tots) through to Under 17s, the club is located at The Crest Athletics Complex, Bass Hill, with the on-site facilities including a multi-million-dollar, all-weather, synthetic track, covered grandstands, canteen, barbecue facilities and ample parking.
There is also an on-site, fully equipped gym as well as a separate rehabilitation and recovery gym, which members may access.
Registrations have opened but for any families wishing to see what the club has to offer, trial dates will be held on Fridays, September 8 and 15, from 5.45pm. Registrations for the trial are not required, with the season concluding in mid-March 2024.
“Home to World High Jump Champion, Eleanor Patterson, World Championship 1500m finalist, Jessica Hull, and World Championships 3000m steeplechase representative, Edward Trippas, the club aimed to provide a fun experience for all athletes in a family-friendly environment,” a spokesperson said.
“In 2019, BSAC became a ‘One Athletics’ club and offers Little Athletics as part of its club, which caters for members of the athletics community for their entire sport journey.”
Season fees are $110 for Tiny Tots and $165 for all other age groups, with the NSW State Government vouchers able to be used as part of the registration process.
