Circus-themed holiday club

IMAGINE an tight-rope walker afraid of heights, a lion tamer who is a scaredy cat and a clown who can’t juggle – these seriously challenged characters will be looking to get some lessons in bravery while having a lot of fun with children at the upcoming circus-themed school holiday kids club at Yagoona Anglican Church.

Offering families excellent value for money, the kids club will be on offer these school holidays on Wednesday, June 30, Thursday, July 1, and Friday, July 2, 9am-12pm.
It costs $25 a family or $15 a child for the three days in the church hall at 213 Auburn Road, Yagoona.
Organiser Suzanne Ellis said it was for children from Kindergarten up to Year 6, with preschoolers also welcome if accompanied by an adult.
“As well as watching the performances, children will get to enjoy bible stories, circus-themed art and craft, morning tea and lots of games,” she said.
“It’s a great opportunity to plan a fun morning out for your children in a safe environment without the worry of the rain and cold.
“We’ve been holding the kids club for the last 10 years, except for last year because of Covid, and it’s always a big success with the children having lots of fun as well as singing and dancing.”
