Children’s Fest crowd of 250,000

ENJOYING the sea of colour and love, over 250,000 visitors were entertained at the 25th Children’s Festival (pictured) in Yagoona, with activities including lantern-making, bubble blowing, tug ‘o war, sack race, jumping castle, fire truck display, poster competition, multicultural dance performances, the traditional children’s parade and much more.

Bankstown MP Jihad Dib said: “I am, you are, we are Australian – my favourite song which encapsulates the modern and diverse country we live in and that’s the amazing community experience I had at the 25th Canterbury Bankstown Children’s Festival.
