MORE than 70,000 people enjoyed this year’s Cherry Blossom Festival at Auburn Botanic Gardens over nine days, packed with Japanese themed entertainment, workshops, demonstrations and talks.
The festival came to a close on Sunday with the beautiful cherry blossoms in full bloom and a sunny day full of fun and activities, which included special guest and crowd favourite Hello Kitty, pictured with visitors who came dressed for the occasion.
