Charged over string of break-ins

A MAN from Bankstown has been charged over multiple alleged break and enters on Sydney’s Northern Beaches earlier this year.

Between 8pm on Friday, October 9, and 7am on Saturday, October 10, a Palm Beach home was broken into while the owners were sleeping and a cashbox, iPad, computer, several hard drives, a drone and computer equipment were stolen.
Four other break and enters were also reported to police at properties within the area.
A police investigation led to the arrest of a 48-year-old man at a home on Chertsey Avenue, Bankstown, last Thursday.
During a search of the property, police allegedly seized a number of items including drugs, speakers, clothing, phones, jewellery and a hard drive believed to contain stolen digital media from a production company.
The man was charged with 13 offences including four counts of break and enter house steal, four counts of dispose property-theft serious indictable offence, aggravated break and enter and commit serious indictable offence, enter vehicle or boat without consent of owner, larceny, possess prohibited drug and goods suspected stolen in custody.

Racetrack brawlers hospitalised
A POLICE investigation is underway after two men suffered lacerations during a fight at a racetrack in Condell Park last Saturday night.
About 8.40pm, police were called to the venue on Eldridge Road, near Ethel Street, after reports of a fight between a group of men.
When police arrived they found two men suffering lacerations; one man was treated for injuries to his face and leg, the other was treated for a laceration to his arm.
They were both taken to hospital in a stable condition.

Carjacking, armed robbery arrest
TWO men from Villawood and Sefton are among several people charged after an investigation into the alleged armed robbery and carjacking of another man earlier this year.
Just before 3am on Monday, June 22, emergency services were called to a unit complex on Bay Street at Brighton Le Sands, following reports a 45-year-old man had been assaulted. Police were told that three unknown men, all armed with weapons, physically assaulted the man before stealing his car, a late model red Mustang Coupe.
The Sefton man, 31, was charged with robbery while armed with a dangerous weapon, kidnap in company with intent to commit serious indictable offence occasion actual bodily harm and aggravated take/drive motor vehicle with person in/on it (armed with weapon) and the Villawood man, 21, was charged with robbery while armed with dangerous weapon, kidnap in company with intent to commit serious indictable offence occasion actual bodily harm and aggravated take/drive motor vehicle with person in/on it (armed with weapon).
