Charge woman bus driver over accident

ONE of the drivers involved in a two-bus crash in Campsie earlier this year, has been charged.

Twelve passengers were taken to hospital in a stable condition, while another 25 were treated by paramedics at the scene after one of the buses travelling westbound along Seventh Avenue, allegedly collided into the rear of the other, causing it to crash into three parked cars, about 4.20pm on Wednesday, March 20.
The 63-year-old woman was charged with cause bodily harm by misconduct, in charge of a motor vehicle (five counts), drive manner dangerous and not stop at stop line.
The woman sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital in a critical condition, while the 63-year-old male driver of the other bus sustained minor injuries and was taken to hospital in a stable condition.
