Emergency services were called to Clifford Street in Panania on Wednesday, September 23, about 7am, where a man had been allegedly assaulted and stabbed.
Police were told the 34-year-old man was standing next to his vehicle, when a Nissan Navara with a green P-plate, pulled up beside him and three unknown men alighted and assaulted him, before he was stabbed.
The group then fled while the injured man was treated at the scene, before being taken to hospital in a critical condition. He underwent surgery and has since been released.
A 21-year-old man arrested last Thursday at a home at Heckenberg, was charged with cause wounding/grievous bodily harm to person with intent to murder, and assault person intend criminal activity of criminal group, and a 22-year old man arrested at a home at Busby, was charged with cause wounding/grievous bodily harm to person with intent to murder, and assault person intend criminal activity of criminal group.
Charge two men for assault and stabbing
TWO men have been charged over the alleged assault and stabbing of a man in Panania last September.
