In January 2022, Strike Force Invermay was established to investigate a ‘dial-a-dealer’ syndicate operating in Sydney’s south-west and central metropolitan regions.
As part of inquiries, Strike Force officers stopped a Toyota Hilux in Merrylands West and arrested the occupants, two men aged 31 and 43.
Shortly after, a 28-year-old man was arrested after officers stopped a Toyota Corolla on the Hume Highway, Bankstown and allegedly located cocaine and cash in his possession, while a 37-year-old woman was also later arrested after being located by officers at Waterloo Road, Greenacre.
Police later raided homes in Croydon, Yagoona, Punchbowl and Arncliffe, seizing more than $80,000 cash, 300 plastic resealable bags containing cocaine with an estimated potential street value of $90,000, 336g of cannabis, two vehicles and electronic devices.
The 43-year-old Yagoona man was charged with two counts of recklessly deal with proceeds of crime and granted conditional bail, a 31-year-old charged with supply prohibited drug – large commercial quantity, supply prohibited drugs on an ongoing basis, and knowingly direct criminal group, the 28-year-old was charged with supply prohibited drugs on an ongoing basis, supply prohibited drug – indictable, and recklessly deal with proceeds of crime, and the woman was charged with supply prohibited drug – large commercial quantity, supply prohibited drugs on an ongoing basis, and participate criminal group contribute criminal activity.

TWO people arrested at Bankstown and Greenacre last Friday afternoon, have been charged as part of a police investigation into an alleged ‘dial-a-dealer’ syndicate.
