Charge man after $1m worth of drugs uncovered during search

A MAN has been refused bail and approximately $1 million worth of illicit drugs allegedly seized during a search warrant in Bankstown.

Last Thursday, about 6.45pm, Police Transport Command officers stopped a 26-year-old man after he exited a ride share vehicle on Cross Street, Bankstown, locating cocaine in his possession.
Following further inquiries, a search warrant was executed at a unit in Raymond Street, Bankstown, early the next morning, with police allegedly locating 50kg of liquid ecstasy and more than 1.5kg of cocaine with an estimated combined street value of about $1 million. Police also allegedly located and seized cash, drug paraphilia and ammunition.
The Croydon Park man faces several charges of supplying a prohibited drug, as well as knowingly deal with the proceeds of crime, and possess ammunition without holding licence/permit/authority.
