Charge driver over crash which killed two cyclists

A MAN has been charged over his alleged involvement in a fatal crash in Greenacre last month.

About 7.55pm on Tuesday, May 28, a car and motorcycle collided narrowly the intersection of the Hume Highway and Worth Street, Greenacre.
The rider, a 26-year-old man, and his 24-year-old female pillion passenger died at the scene.
The driver of the car, a 25-year-old man, was taken to hospital where he remains in a critical condition.
Police believe the motorcycle was part of a convoy at the time of the crash.
A 31-year-old man was charged with dangerous driving occasioning death – drive manner dangerous (two counts), dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm, and organise promote or take part in race between vehicles.
