Charge 14th male over riot outside church after attack

FOURTEEN males have now been charged following an extensive investigation into a riot outside a church in Wakeley last month, with one of the latest arrests at Picnic Point on Monday.

Strike Force Dribs was established to investigate the large-scale public order incident, with investigators targeting persons believed to have been at the riot, which followed the alleged stabbing of a bishop at the church.
A 40-year-old man arrested at Picnic Point, was charged with aggravated break and enter with intent – in company – not steal, riot, throw missile at police officer at public disorder no actual bodily harm, and assault police officer during public disorder cause actual bodily harm.
