Enjoying the arcade games, pool table, racing car simulator, e-karting, virtual reality offerings, bowling and more, guests were treated to an outdoor buffet with a range of special activities for children including face-painting, games and a beauty and makeup show.
CBCC President Wally Mehanna said that just as site organisers promise, the event was certainly a memorable one.
“But best of all, guests came laden with Christmas gifts and toys to be donated to local children in challenging circumstances,” he said.
“I estimate, we collected over 1,000 gifts for young people on the day which was an amazing effort.
“We also invited representatives from women’s refuge Biyani House and Bankstown Women’s Health Centre so they could witness the fantastic support and the way the community came together as one unit to help our vulnerable.”
Mr Mehanna said he was very grateful to sponsors – Settlement Services International, IMB Bank and the Entertainment Park – for allowing the CBCC to make the day happen.
“We want to harness this positivity and take it into 2024 which we hope will be a very happy year for all,” he said.
