Helping people with intellectual disabilities find satisfying work and learn life skills for over 20 years, the team harnessed 2020’s internationally recognised day themed, ‘Building Back Better’, toward a disability-inclusive, accessible and sustainable post-Covid-19 world.
Senior staff also thanked some special guests for their contributions in supporting the installation of the new gym.
“The students and workers at Centacare are the focus of everything we do. It’s about them reaching their potential and tapping into things that they didn’t know they could do, like now being able to go to the gym,” training manager Sandra Younes said.
