Rescue dog from dangerous ledge

FIREFIGHTERS rescued a Pomeranian precariously perched on the side of an apartment building at Wentworth Point last week.

Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) firefighters were called to the complex on Burroway Road on Sunday, July 16, about 9.45pm, where the dog, ‘Cash’ (pictured), was stuck on a ledge on the seventh floor.
Firies used a ladder truck to safely reach the higher floors to retrieve ‘Cash’ and return him unscathed to his relieved and delighted owner.
“The mission to save this precious pooch was completed a short time later, as fire crews lowered to ground level with ‘Cash’ in transit,” a FRNSW spokesperson said.
