Canterbury Bankstown is the area of most concern for Covid-19 infections and that’s why the Premier Gladys Berejiklian has called in extra police to ensure compliance and help contain the spread.
Canterbury Bankstown has 904 locally acquired Covid-19 cases in the last four weeks up to 8pm on August 5.
The Premier said Canterbury Bankstown is the area where Covid-19 cases are increasing the most.
“We are seeing too many people frequenting certain shopping areas and not doing the right thing,” she said.
She said all suburbs within Canterbury Bankstown need to be on extra alert and there will be extra police on the ground.
