Hijab House’s Sabrina said she wondered what had happened when she arrived at work about 9am.
“There were lots of police cars, a fire truck and plenty of officers on the scene,” she said.
“It was a bit scary.”
A Greenacre Hotel staff member said there were only a few police cars left when he arrived at 10am.
“It’s pretty common in Greenacre, we’ve had a few vehicles losing control and smashing into shops,” he said.
“Not long ago there was even a car on fire out the front of the hotel.”
