Bulldogs supports LifeFlight with Salter Oval sell-out looming

THE Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs are just days away from arriving to Bundaberg for the regions’ second-ever NRL Premiership match, to be played at Salter Oval on Sunday, July 30.

With the Bulldogs bringing their home-match to Bundaberg for the second time in as many years thanks to Tourism and Events QLD (TEQ), excitement is building for locals and travelling fans alike.
The Bulldogs will line up to play the Dolphins, marking the first ever meeting between the two sides in NRL history and as the Club prepares to bring this fixture to life, they have announced a final release of tickets.
With more seating (less standing) and improved vantage points, this historical moment will be one not to miss.
Bulldogs CEO Aaron Warburton said they are greatly looking forward to returning to the area.
“We have been working towards this regional fixture all year, and last years’ sell out spectacular against the North Queensland Cowboys has certainly left an impression with all our staff and players,” he said.
“We were overwhelmed by the warm welcome and the support we received from the Bundaberg community, and this years’ meeting with the Dolphins promises to bring an even greater event with better views, more family-fun activities and another great game of rugby league for locals to enjoy.”
$1 from every ticket sold at last year’s game was donated to the local RACQ LifeFlight Rescue Helicopter Service and earlier this year fulfilled that promise and donated over $8,500 worth of training and medical equipment.
The Club has once again promised to donate $1 from every ticket sold to next weekend’s fixture to the crucial, life-saving service.
RACQ LifeFlight Rescue has long been a trusted and relied upon provider of emergency aeromedical care, bringing critical care to seriously ill and injured patients across the Bundaberg region.
Each year, the Bundaberg-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter flies hundreds of lifesaving missions, impacting the lives of so many.
Warburton has urged Bulldogs members and fans to get in quick to secure their seats.
