THOSE needing to see a doctor no longer have to wait, with bulk-billing surgery Myhealth Roselands now fully staffed and boasting its first female GP, Dr Saba Alessawy.

Housed in the new ‘one-stop’ Roselands Health Hub, Myhealth encourages walk-ins as well as bookings with Dr Saba’s areas of expertise including skin and skin cancer procedures, paediatrics, women’s health, chronic disease management, weight-loss management, simple procedures, mental health, Aboriginal health, workers compensation, preventative medicine and trauma medicine.
The English and Arabic-speaking GP graduated from Medical College in Basrah, Iraq, in 2003, and first practised in Queensland before moving to Sydney in 2016 and working at Brigadoon Medical Centre in Revesby.
Roselands Health Hub founder, Altera Group’s Michael Gould said the site had become a popular medical, health and wellness destination.
“It’s so great for the local community knowing now, they won’t have to wait to see a doctor and we have our first female GP,” he said.
“Just 10 minutes to two prominent public hospitals, the Health Hub offers state-of-the-art clinic facilities.”
As well as Myhealth, these include Terry White Pharmacy, a physiotherapist, podiatrist, dental surgery, occupational therapist, a therapist for special needs children, a chiropractor, injectable skincare clinic, One Door Mental Health, NDIS providers, three psychologists and allied healthcare professionals with imaging and radiology on the way.
