“We haven’t been able to have a fundraiser for three years so are really hoping for a well supported event; it’s going to be heaps of fun.”

Brunch in Belmore to help sick youth
TICKETS are selling fast to continue the work of charity, Help for Hirschsprung Disease, which assists families who have children suffering with bowel disease, with ‘Brunch in Belmore’ at Canterbury League Club on Tuesday, December 6, 10am-1pm.
Featuring MC Rodney O, tickets cost $150 each (tables of 10) and includes bellinis, brunch and entertainment by comedian Jon Bernard and performer Sharon Johal.
Help for Hirschsprung Disease supplies toiletry bags at no charge and Buddy Bears to children’s hospitals in Sydney and Melbourne.
Georgina Altas, whose son George suffers with the disease and who established the charity six years ago, says the event will be entertainment packed.
“We’re hoping to raise enough funds to expand our program into hospitals around Australia,” Georgina said.
