There is a strong focus on students’ middle school education which is followed by two years at Oatley Senior Campus, identified by NESA as offering the broadest curriculum choice in NSW.
Providing a transition between school to university, TAFE or employment, the college has achieved the following outstanding results:
• Its middle school campuses have been identified by the Australian Curriculum Assessment and Reporting Authority as having substantively above average value add growth in NAPLAN for three years; and
• HSC value added over the last four years ranked as excelling – Oatley Senior Campus is one of five schools invited to take part in a research study conducted by the Centre for Education Statistics and Evaluation on effective teaching practices that underpin the HSC.
The campus has also been identified as achieving outstanding HSC results for Mathematics and English courses, with sustained high performance over a four-year period.
