Brew up way to sweetly celebrate ‘World Chocolate Day’ on Sunday

WHILE some international days are hardly worth a mention, one sweet celebration worth making time for is World Chocolate Day this Sunday, July 7.

World Chocolate Day celebrates the introduction of Cocoa to Europe by Spanish Explorer Don Hernán Cortés in 1550.
Manager of Oliver Brown Belgian Chocolate Cafe in Merrylands, Alice Zhao says the most popular item on their extensive list of chocolate inspired dishes and drinks is the humble milk hot chocolate, closely followed by moccas for those who choose between the chocolate and coffee.
She said celebrating World Chocolate Day was a great idea.
“We definitely deserve chocolate every day,” she said.
“It’s a good thing in a busy life.
“Sweet things are always a good idea, especially for Friday nights and weekends.
“We love chocolate and it’s good to celebrate it.”
