Coach Trent Barrett said even when the Dogs were down by 14, they were in the game but their inability to build any pressure scoring points is hurting them, especially at the back end of games.
“Our attack is pedestrian, we don’t help ourselves with errors,” he said.
“Not too many things went our way and losing Lachlan Lewis definitely hurt. We were brave but unfortunately brave won’t be good enough in this competition.
“I know what’s wrong with our attack but I’m not going to discuss it here.”
