Boys can apply for ‘enrichment’

GOING beyond the classroom, enrichment programs promote critical thinking and boost students’ problem solving skills.

They also improve students’ ability to concentrate and make learning more meaningful, valuable and rewarding.
At Canterbury Boys High School, enrichment programs are offered to boys who exhibit high potential across a range of learning domains.
The program covers Years 7-10 and provides an enhanced learning environment for boys in preparation for the demands of the HSC and further study.
“Enrichment activities are fun, which help students to become more engaged in their learning and retain more information,” Enrichment Coordinator Glenn Smith said.
“The classes are capped at 20 throughout the program to ensure we can properly focus on the individual and collective needs of the boys.”
To secure your son’s place in the program, there will be an entry test, at a cost of $50, to be held on Saturday, March 20, 10am at Canterbury Boys High School in Holden Street, Ashbury.
