Well supported by other local clubs, bowlers came from both Revesby Workers’ and Padstow Bowling clubs to play alongside their Picnic Point rivals.
A solid contingent of Alliance Real Estate personnel also attended, with prizes awarded to the four top-placed teams, as well as last place.
Alliance Real Estate Director Andrew Prodromou highlighted the strong relationship that Alliance and Club Picnic Point have enjoyed during the last 20 years.
The winning team comprised Albert Ham and Arthur Gates from Club Picnic Point playing alongside Chris Lawson from Padstow Bowling Club.
In second place was Trevor Tindall, Rod Clifton and Mark Walden from Club Picnic Point, with third place going to Ian Edwards, Judy Cullen and Pam Furner from Club Picnic Point.
Fourth place went to Russell Freshwater, Billy Brown and Dennis Allen, with formalities for the tournament managed by Dave Mizon, Club Picnic Point Bowls President, and Arthur Gates, Men’s Bowls Secretary.
