This season Bankstown Sports Junior Cricket Club had seven teams make a semi final, including four under 13 teams, an under 15s team and the two under 17s teams.
Two of the under 13 teams made their grand final which was played on Saturday, however both sadly lost.
“Regardless of the outcome of this weekend’s game, Bankstown Sports Cricket Club is extremely proud of this season’s achievements and very proud to have two teams playing each other in a combined competition for the grand final trophy,” a club spokesperson said.
The teams will face off this Saturday and Sunday from 8.30am at Smith Park in East Hills.

IN a first for Bankstown Sports Cricket Club, the Under 17 (black) (pictured) and (red) teams who play in a combined Canterbury/Western Suburbs, Bankstown and St George District Association competition, have both qualified to play against each other in this weekend’s grand final.
