INSPIRED by some of the characters from their favourite books, students and staff from Granville Public School got into the spirit of Book Week with some very imaginative costumes.
Tim Harris, the author of the Mr Bambuckle’s Remarkables series and Exploding Endings series, also visited the school to talk to students about writing books.
Held since 1945, Book Week is the longest running children’s festival in Australia and celebrates books for children and young people, as well as their authors and publishers.
