The brainchild of Pampered Floof owner, trainer, groomer and pet whisperer Julie Pinto, it’s a great opportunity to include all of your family members in one photographic sitting where you’ll receive a professional photo which can be used on a Christmas card.
A veterinary nurse since the age of 15, Julie is an accredited Animal Behaviour Trainer, runs a puppy preschool from her business and also offers cat or guinea pig boarding along with bird hand-raising.
She says her techniques are similar to the trainers on the TV show ‘Dogs Behaving Badly’.
“I teach behaviour training to dogs through positive reinforcement, saying no isn’t effective long-term and it builds anxiety,” she said.
“I am very passionate about making animals as happy and comfortable as possible and just love Christmas and want to involve as many of them and their owners in the festive spirit as possible.”
With the Tower Street Mixed Business owners Dawn (Santa’s helper) and Bill (Santa) Kavouras also involved, photo shoot appointments are available on Friday, December 1, 6-8pm, and Saturday, December 2, 4-7pm, with a $10 deposit payable on booking and a further $20 due on the day.
To book, email your phone number, preferred time and number of people and pets attending to julie@pamperedfloof.com.au.
