Blues narrowly miss equalising after late goal

SYDNEY Olympic have gone down 2-1 to cellar dwellers Central Coast Mariners at Netstrata Jubilee Stadium on Saturday.

The Mariners opened the scoring in the National Premier Leagues Men’s NSW clash with a strike from Arthur De Lima in the 26th minute. The exciting teenager took his chance with a bullseye header after being put on the end of a sharp, curling ball from Taye Hedley.
Eight-minutes later Olympic equalised after captain Adam Parkhouse found himself situated just centre metres away from goals, as he effortlessly scored to square the ledger.
The Blues Teng Kuol did his best to counter the attack and almost found his way through in the 70th minute but less than 10 minutes later, the Mariners conjured up the winner courtesy of De Lima.
