Best swinging in to wow club

FANTASTIC, free entertainment will burst onto the stage at Petersham RSL this weekend, starting with the highly talented Nick Hill from 7.30pm on Thursday night.

The singer-songwriter has a strong handle on electronic, soulful tunes which are emotional, sensitive and tender.

Yet Hill is also capable of producing a hypnotic atmosphere within the tune to go with that broody voice; he’ll leave you wanting more.

Nite Train is quickly gathering a reputation as one of Sydney’s best cover bands and they’re up next from 7.30pm on Friday.

With punchy horn riffs, tight rhythmic grooves and your favourite classics, a fun filled evening for all is guaranteed!

What makes the band unique is that it features some of the most talented musicians in the region, including three different vocalists that really set this band apart from the others.

Then at the special time of 7pm on Saturday, another dynamic duo – Twin Shok – will light up the stage and transport you to another world.

These amazing identical twins – Rosemary and Kathleen Meek – are known to many of their fans because of their beautiful and natural vocals, their voices blending with the most amazing sibling harmonies that many say are unbeatable.

If you want to reminisce with a few golden oldies, head back to the club on Sunday from 2pm, to enjoy the fabulously talented Gabby.

The vocalist and guitarist is a very popular performer, catering for all age groups and specialising in music of the 60s and 70s, ballads, swing, country and rock n roll classics.
