Best roll in ready to fight for ‘World Muaythai Title’

FANS of fast-paced, stand-up combat sports, are in for a treat in early November when the eighth edition of the WBC Welterweight World Muaythai Title will be fought for at Revesby Workers’ Club.

The main event will feature the world title clash between Australian Maximus McVicker who is based in the ACT, against the man they call ‘Superman’ – the current WBC World Champion Sajad Sattari based in Iran, with the winner walking away with the belt and bragging rights.
The semi main event is Sydney’s Hugh O’Donnell versus Brazilian Luis Cajaiba who is ranked 14th in the world.
Josh Mcculloch from Tamworth, who holds a record of 7-0, will also be looking to score his eighth straight win when he takes on Thongchai, known as the Thai Terminator.
Organiser 1774 Muaythai Promotions’ Michael Green said it would be an incredible night on Saturday, November 11, with 10 professional fights scheduled, all sanctioned by the World Boxing Council and NSW Sports Authority.
“We hope to have a sell-out crowd but will also offer a live-stream for those that can’t attend the venue itself,” he said.
“This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to witness the highest level of professional Muaythai and is not to be missed.”
