Carruthers opened with Daniel Solway and the pair were restricted to rapidly run singles and doubles, until he decided to take charge with a massive six and a laser-like boundary straight back over the bowler.
Soon after Solway was caught in the deep, bringing Zeesha Ahmed to the crease with the Dogs 1-28.
Carruthers continued to smash the ball around the park before being caught by the wicket keeper and was well supported by Zeeshan Ahmed and Mansukh Singh who hit 33 and 23 respectively
With one over to bat and the Dogs 6-120, captain Aaron Bird joined Tyler Van Luin who was subsequently caught on the fence.
The Bulldogs finished with 7 for 126.
Opening the bowling, Marshall nearly continued his recent and freakish form of first ball wickets, but it fell just short of Brad Simpson near third man on the fence.
Van Luin then almost snagged a catch to Bird at mid-off, but it was not to be.
Ryan Clark’s slow bowling was used to good effect and gave away little as the batsmen had to force the pace and take risks and nearly gifted him a caught and bowled.
With the momentum swinging Parramatta’s way, the Dogs needed a breakthrough.
Despite a late catch to Smith in the 16th over, the damage had been done and the Eels cruised to victory.

A RAPID-FIRE 47 off only 31 balls by Bankstown opener Nick Carruthers wasn’t enough to get them home, with Parramatta cruising to victory in the Premier Grade Cricket T20 clash in the 18th over.
