Australia Day at RSL

FANTASTIC, free entertainment will burst onto the stage at Petersham RSL this weekend, starting with the highly talented Tony Mazell from 6pm on Thursday.

Feel like hearing some Italian classics? Tony has an extensive Italian repertoire thanks to his Italian background but is also just as comfortable delivering everything from the crooners like Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra, to Elvis and Tom Jones.
His infectious character and humour keeps his audiences wanting more and Tony delivers.
Next up on Friday from 6pm is the highly talented Grace Fuller.
Passionate about music from a young age, Grace’s vocal style is a mix of folk and pop.
When performing, Grace covers artists from the 70s to today, putting her own spin on the classics.
But don’t put away your dancing shoes just yet, head back to the club to enjoy the fine form and sparkling antics of Diamond Rhythm from 7pm on Saturday.
Alicia Heymel is a singer, dancer, actor, compere, children’s performer and teacher and has been the lead singer of several bands, while Clive Smither, from the multi award-winning group, ‘Triple Treat’, adds a rich dimension.
Then for a wonderful Australia Day celebration from 3pm on Sunday, you can enjoy Two Of A Kind icons ‘Johnny O’Keefe’ and ‘Olivia Newton-John’ (with Lonnie Brabender and Dorathy Cooper). Members, $10, guests, $20 and children, $5. Details: 9560 8355 or petershamrsl.com.au.
