Aussie bush band party invite

LOVED for their raucous yet polished live shows, the classic Aussie sound combined with honest humour of ‘Simply Bushed’, will leave you feeling proud to be Australian when they return to Gasparo in Georges Hall this Sunday from 4pm.

Performing with singer-songwriter Arna Georgia, they willI tell you that they play “Straylyun songs ‘bout Stralya”.
A collaboration between Paul Grierson and Chris Rieger who write the award-winning original songs, Simply Bushed also features Hugh Curtis on fiddle, Dave Roberts on drums and ‘The Padre’, John Healey, carrying the rhythm on bass guitar.
Simply Bushed have been honoured with multiple awards, including The Country Music Awards Of Australia (Golden Guitar) nominations, as they continue to write in the style of our timeless heritage music which is oozing with modern relevance.
Having the longest music break this year in 28 years over Covid, Paul said their first gig playing since March was on Remembrance Day at Warragamba Dam.
“It was so amazing; we had over 300 people turn up,” he said.
“We’re looking forward to playing at Gasparo as it’s a beautiful Italian restaurant with a great PA system and the audience will get to hear all of our funny stories, most of them are true, as well some Red Gum and John Williamson covers plus all of our fan favourites such as ‘Raise Your Glass’ and ‘No More Holdens’.
“You’ll walk out of our show feeling very patriotic and a proud Aussie.”
