Arrests after raid uncovers drugs, stolen goods, cash

POLICE smashed their way into homes in Georges Hall and Riverwood early last Friday morning and charged two men as part of an investigation into ongoing drug manufacture and supply offences, as well as mid-level organised crime in the local area.

During the search at Georges Hall, police allegedly seized 2L of liquid GBL (gamma butyrolactone), 100g of cocaine, 30g of methylamphetamine (ice), mobile phones and more than $2,000 cash, and more than 1kg of cannabis and more than $41,000 in cash at the Riverwood home.
All items will undergo further examination.
A 34-year-old Georges Hall man was charged with supply prohibited drugs on an ongoing basis (x4), supply prohibited drug, supply prohibited drug (commercial quantity), possess prohibited drug (x3), supply prohibited drug (x2), recklessly deal with proceeds of crime, and goods suspected stolen in/on premises.
A 30-year-old Riverwood man was charged with cultivate prohibited drug, supply prohibited drug (indictable and commercial quantity) (x2), possess prohibited drug (x3), supply prohibited drug, recklessly deal with proceeds of crime, and goods suspected of being stolen in/on premises.
Investigations are continuing.
