Apply for business mentoring

WOMEN are being urged to apply for mentoring in a new council initiative to encourage and assist local women in business.

The Inner West Council Women in Business mentor program will support women to launch or grow their businesses with access to workshops, group and one-on-one mentoring.
“It’s great to see so many of our local business women in the Inner West putting their hands up to participate in this new initiative,” said Councillor Anna York who launched the initiative last week.
“Inner West Council has been delivering Women in Business activities for over three years now. The program has had an excellent track record in supporting, engaging, and inspiring local business women.”
The program combines: Interactive specialist business workshops; group mentoring; one on one mentoring from three different business mentors; and a business accountability partner to assist in identifying a strategic business goal and to then achieve that goal.
Applications for the Mentor program are now being accepted innerwest.nsw.gov.au/WomenMentors but close on July 26 at 5pm.
