Ancient treats to sweeten day

PLUMP, sticky and full of fragrant, zesty or nutty flavours – there are not many delights on earth that come close to heavenly Turkish Delight and thanks to BK’s, which has recently opened in Auburn, customers can choose from over 12 varieties, plus options to mix and match, to treat their families and loved ones.

Some of the most popular varieties include cinnamon, lemon, raspberry, strawberry, orange, pistachio with white or dark chocolate, saffron, rose and Turkish coffee with honey.
BK’s manager Mai says the Turkish Delight platters are ideal for all occasions, such as engagements, weddings, births or when visiting friends and family or when someone is sick in hospital.

“Our Turkish Delight is flown in from Turkey by plane so it’s absolutely fresh, delicious and not overly sweet; I think a lot of people are sick of baklava so Turkish Delight is a fantastic alternative and there are even gluten free options,” she said.
Open Monday to Friday, 6am-10pm, and Saturday, 10am-12pm, for the convenience of customers day and night, BK’s also offers beautiful Turkish coffee and soft drinks plus options for lunch, including kebabs, burgers, gozleme, hot dogs and falafel plus whole roasted chickens.
With a seating area available and takeaway options including phone orders, Uber Eats and Menulog, the BK’s team is also happy to discuss catering options.
