Organised by Georges Hall Newsagency operators and brothers Abraham and Sam Wahhab, the show was held in the carpark outside their outlet and attracted 50 gleaming vintage and classic beauties as well as a handsome family of Harley Davidson motorbikes.
Abraham said there were many impressive vehicles to view including a 1953 Bentley, a 1967 Ford Mustang, a 1963 Toyota 2000, a 1971 GTR Torana, a 1971 Ford Cobra and a 1984 RX7 Mazda as well as the elder of them all – a 1929 Model A Ford.
“We supplied a free sausage sizzle and were thrilled with the turnout on the day,” Abraham said.
“Everybody was in high spirits and were very generous with their charity donations.
“There is a big community of car lovers in Canterbury Bankstown, including ourselves, and we are already planning our next charity car show in a few months’ time as it was such a fun day.”
