AUSSIE barbecues are known the world over as lively, sociable gatherings centred around the ever popular grill.

Well, you should see how well the Koreans throw a barbecue; a flurry of smoking coals, searing meats, wonderful service and satisfied customers are the hallmarks of TK Something BBQ Restaurant in Marrickville.
Open for just five months, the eatery already has a faithful following, with manager Sang Nguyen saying the feedback from customers has been very positive.
“There is nothing else like TK Something BBQ in all of Marrickville,” he explains.
“When you come to a restaurant you are usually just sitting there, but at TK’s you are doing something fun at the same time as socialising.
“And what’s more, it’s an all you can eat barbecue for only $35 a head. That’s all the meats, salads and desserts you can handle plus we are fully licensed with Korean alcohol (sojus) very popular.”
Meats include tasty beef, flavoursome chicken and crispy pork belly plus big juicy prawns, calamari and scallops, as well as some great vegetarian options.
A range of interesting sides to complement the meats, include mashed potato, asian greens, salads, sprouts, noodles, quail eggs and rice.
Desserts include panacotta, creme brulee, lychees and mixed Asian sweets to name a few, with all made in-house fresh daily.
