With more than 30 players of myriad cricketing abilities – from NSW Intellectual Disability Cricket representative from RSAC, Joe O’Reilly, through to players in wheelchairs – everyone was catered for across two pitches at Warners Bay, Newcastle.
Newcastle were victors the last time they all met but the tables were turned with the combined RSAC (Bankstown and Canberra) teams victorious in both divisions.
There were stellar performances by RSAC players Joe O’Reilly (batting) and Ed Smith (bowling) in A grade and Keiron Langford and Tim Andrews in B grade who steered their team home to victory with the bat.
All-ability cricketers do Bankstown proud
AFTER a break of almost three years due to Covid, Bankstown Recreation Sports and Aquatics Club’s (RSAC) cricket team travelled to Newcastle for matches with and against other all-ability cricketers from both Newcastle and Canberra.
