Adding punch to fitness routine at Auburn PCYC

WANT to feel fighting fit and happy with energy to burn?

The simple solution is to add some punch to your fitness routine by taking a boxing class or two every week at Auburn PCYC.
Boxing is an incredible full-body workout that can help you to build muscle in your legs, hips, core, arms, chest and shoulders.
It can also help with your strength, speed, hand-eye coordination, agility, endurance and power – all while burning kilojoules and releasing good mood endorphins at the same time.
Auburn PCYC manager Liz Napoli says boxing is a great aerobic exercise to get your heart pumping and helps lower the risk of high blood pressure, heart disease, stroke and diabetes.
“Boxing is a great activity for those who want to keep active and fit in a social setting,” she said.
“It’s also becoming very popular among children and parents love it because boxing teaches kids about health and fitness and lets them offload stress in a positive way.”
Auburn PCYC classes are on offer for adults on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, 5.45-7.30pm, and for children on Mondays (9-13s at 4pm and 5-8s at 5pm) and Wednesdays (5-8s at 4pm).
