Bringing one of the most beloved and deranged families in pop culture to the stage, it is filled with dark humour, catchy tunes and Morticia and Gomez’ very worst nightmare … Wednesday falling in love with an ordinary boy.
With a kooky ensemble of Addams ancestors, all your favourite Addams characters and a whole lot of singing and dancing, this show follows HMDS’ successful production of Mel Brooks’ ‘The Producers’ earlier this year. Holroyd Committee President Jordan Vassallo said HMDS was excited to share another hilarious, zany story with their audience.
“I think the culture that we are working hard to foster draws in lots of talented, enthusiastic people who are passionate about what community theatre brings to society,” he said.
‘The Addams Family – The Musical’ will run over two weekends from September 15 and 24 at the Redgum Function Centre in Wentworthville.
Tickets: $35-$45 at hmds.org.au.
