LOCAL musicians and the community came together last Friday to celebrate music and creativity with free concerts on Make Music Day (June 21).
Founded by French politician Jack Lang, who imagined a national day dedicated to free music in public places, it is the second year Australia has celebrated the event.
Musos gathered at Paul Keating Park to entertain the lunchtime crowd while Bankstown Central hosted students from Birrong Girls’ High and La Salle Catholic College.
