The Australian International Multicultural Association (AIM) is set to host their inaugural AIM Talent Awards to showcase the diverse skills and creativity of performers from various cultural backgrounds in Canterbury Bankstown.
Offering participants a platform to gain exposure and public performance opportunities, the contest is open to individuals 18 years of age or over with a wide array of talents including singing, dancing, dramatic, comedic and instrumental performances.
Participants will go through several rounds of auditions, with the most exceptional talents advancing to the final stages of the competition.
AIM Association President Charbel Tadros said that throughout the contest, a panel of esteemed judges, composed of industry professionals and cultural icons, would evaluate the performances based on criteria such as originality, skill and cultural representation.
“The audience also plays a crucial role, with opportunities to vote for favourite acts, adding to the excitement and engagement of the event,” he said.
The competition will take place at Bryan Brown Theatre on September 15 and participants must apply by July 15 to audition soon after at Bankstown RSL.
With trophies, recognition and a cash prize of $1,000, those interested are invited to apply at apply on aimassociation.org.au/talent.
