‘It feels so great to give back’, club’s Brad says

One such local volunteer, Bradley Peryman has been serving in various roles at Condell Park Football Club for the past 11 years.
What makes Bradley so remarkable is that he is only 28-years-old and is now also the club’s President.
Truly devoted, he started playing aged six years and is still playing while juggling his various administrative roles and duties.
His steadfast loyalty, from declining offers to play outside his own club from other clubs, to supporting teams across different age groups, exemplifies a rare level of dedication and passion for his club.
Being a small club, a lot of the day to day work falls on the limited number of volunteers and every home game, sees Bradley doing both the field set up and pull down for all teams playing there, as well as playing his own game.
He has also been a registered referee from the age of 12, serving not only his club but supplying his services to other clubs thoughout the district.
Describing the club as his second family, he says what drives him is to keep the club alive and to keep the club’s name in the history of Bankstown.
“If you’re passionate about something, you should always give it a go,” he said.
“Volunteering created a whole new world for me as it does for everyone; it just feels so great to give back and know you are making a difference and being part of something greater than yourself.”
