The footage also shows a mum and child cowering behind a car, as Toufik Hamze, 64, and Salim, 18, were allegedly shot in a brazen daylight shooting while sitting in a parked ute outside a property in Osgood Street, just before 9am on Wednesday, October 20, 2021.
Salim died at the scene, while his father was taken to hospital, where he later died.
Detectives attached to State Crime Command’s Homicide Squad established Strike Force Ormerod to investigate the murders.
Four men, aged 20, 25, 18 and 23, have previously been charged over their alleged roles and remain before the courts.
Police released the footage as part of an appeal for public assistance.
It shows a silver Lexus SUV stopped on Osgood Street, before a man – dressed in all black and wearing a balaclava – exits the vehicle and runs toward a stationary red utility, where the father and son were seated. The man falls over, before getting up and shooting into the ute.
Police allege the man returns to the SUV as the driver begins to drive off, before coming to a stop and firing more shots from their vehicle into the ute.
Commander of State Crime Command’s Homicide Squad, Detective Superintendent Danny Doherty said detectives were still looking for the men who pulled the trigger.
“We are appealing to anyone who may recognise these men and we’re also interested in talking to any witnesses whose memory may be jogged by this CCTV – particularly those seen driving past, who may not have been aware at the time what they were witnessing,” he said.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers: 1800 333 000 or nsw.crimestoppers.com.au.
