Gearing up for Charity Car Show

THE IGA carpark outside Georges Hall Newsagency & Cafe, will be a sea of gleaming metal this Long Weekend Monday as brothers Abraham and Sam Wahhab host their next classic car show (pictured) to support charity CareFlight.

Abraham said there were would be many impressive vehicles to view including a 1953 Bentley, a 1967 Ford Mustang, a 1963 Toyota 2000, a 1971 GTR Torana, a 1971 Ford Cobra and a 1984 RX7 Mazda as well as the elder of them all – a 1929 Model A Ford, from 8am-12pm.
“At the last car show, we had more than 150 car lovers who raised over $1,400 for CareFlight and this time we are hoping to do even better,” he said.
“We will again be offering a sausage sizzle for a gold coin donation and look forward to seeing all of the familiar as well as new faces and their pride and joys – everyone’s invited.”
