All invited to help ‘close the gap with music’

BORN in India to English parents and founder of the Anglo Indian Institute in Sydney, Charles Barden established the Eurasian United Australia Inc (pictured) to include more migrants such as those from Indian, Burmese, Vietnamese, Nepalese, Egyptian and Middle Eastern cultures.

Charles says they are all our extended families anyway and there should be more opportunities to meet and connect with cultures of every race.
With this in mind, he has organised ‘Closing The Gap With Music’ at Rosnay Golf Club on the second Saturday of the month, starting on May 13, 5-8pm.
“For a gold coin donation, families can meet and enjoy a great chinwag while a DJ plays Anglo, Arabic and Indian music from the 40s right through to present day,” Charles said.
“There will be bar and bistro meals to choose from, with the complete menu extremely reasonably priced.
“If you have the time, we have the club and if you have the energy, we have the entertainment.
“Please come along and say hi and play your role in making our community a vibrant, diverse and supportive place to live.”
