MP vows to tackle cost of living woes

INSPIRED to make change, new elected Labor State MP for East Hills, Kylie Wilkinson, is ready to help deliver the promises they made throughout the election campaign.

“East Hills is finally back to Labor,” she said.
“I am so proud of the campaign and grateful to the hundreds of dedicated volunteers who worked tirelessly on the campaign.
“It is a great privilege to serve the people of my community and I want to sincerely thank them for entrusting me with their vote and for their support.
“I am committed to helping and representing the individuals, families, businesses and community organisations in all parts of the electorate … helping people tackle cost of living pressures.”
Ms Wilkinson said the most important part of the campaign was the community engagement side; knocking on people’s doors and making phone calls to connect with thousands of people across the electorate.
“It was incredible to hear their stories and what their visions were for the East Hills community,” she said.
“I was inspired by the support I received from people who really wanted a change, and thoroughly enjoyed catching up with the many friends and acquaintances I have met over 35 years of living and volunteering in this community.
“It is a great privilege to serve the people of my community and I want to sincerely thank them for entrusting me with their vote and for their support.”
