Easter egg giveaway at markets

NOTHING beats a chip on a stick – just ask the Bankstown Markets crowd who are looking forward to snaffling a few this Easter Sunday.

Held in the grounds of Bankstown Paceway from 8am-2pm every Sunday, the Easter market days are extra special and according to Paceway Manager Tom Swiderski, definite ‘treasures’ can be found among the ‘trash’.
“A man excitedly came up to me at the last market, saying ‘look at this frame, it only cost $5 but I’ve seen them go for $600 on eBay’,” he said.
“That’s how it is here, most people who come for the first time are amazed at the range of wares offered by over 130 stallholders.”
With a great mix of new and pre-loved items, you’ll find heaps of clothing, homewares, plants, technology, CDs, books, toys, arts and crafts, fresh food and the best coffee around with plenty of refreshments to fuel your day.
For those looking to make Easter as budget-friendly as possible, why not take advantage of the free Easter Egg Packet giveaway on the day before you head to family and friends to celebrate.
“The markets are a real, hidden gem in Bankstown and offer a great day out where many savings can be enjoyed,” Tom said.
